Store them in a cool, dry place at 60-70°F out of direct light. Exposure to moisture, 80+°F temperatures and light for long periods of time can reduce the shelf life of the product.

Luca Pets treats are a convenient adaptable snack for dogs. Our crunchy treats are freeze-dried and they are light as a cloud.

• Feed it as a healthy snack or use it as a meal topper to spice up their meals with some added crunch.

• Unlike dehydrated food, our treats can be rehydrated very quickly for our furry friends who prefer to eat soft foods. Just pour, soak, and mash.

Our treat bars can be broken into smaller pieces to allow for smaller bites as training treats.

Although we are unable to label our products “human-grade” given our production facility doesn’t have an FDA “human-grade” certification, we use only 100% natural and organic ingredients to make our treats for animal consumption.

Yes! Luca Pets dog treats are lab-tested by an AAFCO accredited lab, you can find the guaranteed analysis on the packagings and the product page.

We also test our ingredients for Salmonella, Listeria, E-coli and Staphylococcus. Our products undergo exhaustive testing for contaminants and heavy metals such as antimony, arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury.

Agar, also known as agar-agar, is a mix of carbohydrates extracted from Red Algae. Agar has no flavor, odor or color and has undergone several tests that have passed it as safe for dogs’ consumption.

Since we don’t use any artificial coloring and only use natural ingredients for coloring, the colors of our treats (especially the strawberry smoothie bars) will fade after excessive light exposure. To avoid fading, store the treats in a cool and dry place, out of direct light.

Color fading is normal in natural products like ours. If some fading occurs, do not worry, the product is still 100% safe to consume before the “best by” date.
